Every employee within the company plays a role in the security of our company data and the data of our customers. This means that all software used within the company must be licensed and properly managed to prevent any security breaches or data loss. We cannot allow the use of unlicensed software or the overuse of licensed software, as this puts our company and our customers at risk. Any unauthorized software or the overuse of licensed software is defined to be license bloating and is prohibited.
As a reminder, all software purchases, including monthly subscriptions and Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms, must be reviewed and approved by the IT department before committing to any purchases. If you require any software or SaaS platform, please submit a request to the IT department by sending an email to [email protected]. The IT team will review the request and provide guidance on the best software to meet your needs. If the software is approved, we will facilitate the purchase and ensure that it is properly accounted for in our budget.
